A Fancy Feast of 21 Feline Feel-Goods To Browse on Lazy Caturday Mornings (October, 11 2025)

Posted by Lana DeGaetano

It isn't a Caturday morning with feline feel-goods to keep you company. Feline parents benefit the most from this fancy feast because, well, cats are their favorite thing in the entire world! If it were up to me, every day would be Caturday, and then we'd never have to be cat-less ever again! We need a cat lover to become president and enact this wonderful idea…

No matter what day it is, though, it's Caturday in our hooman hearts. Being a cat lover isn't a hobby; it's a lifestyle. Legend has it that cat lovers' good karma skyrockets every time they give a good kitty nice pats on the back and little scratchies underneath their chins. Where would we be without our right-paw pets? I don't know about you, but I don't want to think about a universe without funny floofs in it.

Caturdays are reserved for lounging, loving, and resetting your nervous system. The weather's cooling down; it's the perfect time for a blanket cuddle with your fuzzy fella as they grow their winter coat this Octob-purr. What're you waiting for?! Stay here with us for a cozy while.

'My moral compass is all over the place': Cat lover torn between leaving behind a neglected neighbor

Posted by Sarah Brown

The classic case of feline fate and hooman heartstrings. This kind soul has found themselves in the ultimate cat conundrum: whisker away the neglected neighborhood floof to a better life, or leave him behind to face another cold winter? For three years, this good Samaritan has run an undercover cat café, offering water, snacks, and even a custom-built insulated shelter. Meanwhile, the poor guy's home sounds like anything but cozy. It is loud, chaotic, and far from cat-approved.

Now, with moving day looming, the heart says bring him, but the conscience meows, is that right? The husband is on Team Rescue, and honestly, it is hard not to agree. After all, this is not cat-napping. It is purrsuasive relocation for a better life.

Sometimes doing the right thing means following your gut and a few heartfelt meows. It is not stealing. It is saving a forgotten friend. If this whiskered wanderer finds warmth, love, and peace on the farm, that is a happy tail worth telling.

There's nothing like a furry friend in our lives. Whether you're a dog person or a cat person, having that kind of comfort is crucial in our time of need. She expected that she'd foster the cat back to health, but when she saw how attached the cat was to her she decided to keep her. She claims that the cat never leaves her side, that she's always sitting on her, that they always eat together, and that even her dog is obsessed with the cat. 'He's letting me pet him on his belly': Cute abandoned kitten found on hooman’s porch turns out to a

Posted by Briana Viser

There's something so ingrained in human nature that makes us want to adopt, hold, and love cute things. Baby animals touch the hearts of everyone, even your bitter, grumpy, Harley Davidson riding tough guy will melt at the site of a puppy or newborn kitten. The story here involves that kind of inherent love and admiration for animals, but we don't know much about the protagonist involved. He claims a wild bobcat just showed up on his porch, and being a friendly and curious human, he went to pet the little guy. This wild bobcat cub actually purred, and even rolled over on his back to show his belly to be pet.

An unthinkable trajectory from wild animal and kitten to purring up to strangers, and even going into their home. Of course though, the wholesome hooman called animal rescue, though reluctantly. The internet applauds his ability to do the responsible thing, despite wanting to keep the kitten as his own.

Finally it is Furiday, and it has come not a moment too soon. The work week has been a woesome one and all we can think about is putting up our paws, enjoying some mulled cider and letting the worries of the week melt into nothingness.

But, alas, there are still a good few hours ahead of us where we have to maintain our concentration and focus to earn our well-deserved break. And while we might not be able to keep our minds glued even to the doom-scrolling that usually holds our attention rather easily, there is a way to refresh your focus and keep it together until the end of the working day. It is of course this list of concentrating cats who are laser focused on their potential prey sitting just on the other side of the window. A purrfect metaphor for you chasing after things in your computer screen, laser focused on catching those pesky emails before it is too late.

Whether it is a hooman family or a feline one, the introduction of a new sibling is not an easy one to handle. Not just for the parents, but also for the child who was there first. Suddenly, their attention has been cut in half, their pawrents who doted on them day and night are suddenly obsessed with a new arrival that gets to control everyone else's life. It is not an easy pill to swallow, no less when one is talking about cat children, who are notorious for being difficult when it comes to taking their meds.

And that is the core of our story today as we dive into the diary of a young catto who had to come to terms with the trials and tribulations of welcoming a younger sibling into their family. It is a story of feline jealousy, tension, hissing and ultimately the quashing of sibling rivalry in the name of family unity.

Relationships are hard enough as it is, but when cats are involved… somehow, things get even more difficult. You would think - or at least we thought - as the cat owner, that cats are really simple creatures to get used to. But we suppose that's not true for everyone. There are some people who are jealous of the affection we show our cats, others who think we're unhygienic for smooching our cats on their flat little purrfect foreheads.

Sometimes, these things can be explained. Other times, when they cannot be explained, it means that the person you are with is probably incompatible with you and your values. But never - never - is the right solution to abandon your cat to accommodate a partner who does not understand you, and who is not willing to make an effort to do it. Never. And especially not when we're talking about a cat that you have had for years who is incredibly attached to you.

Man finds an abandoned kitten at a surveying jobsite, immediately adopts her, and gains a best frien

Posted by Mariel Ruvinsky

One of the things that we think people who don't have cats simply cannot understand about cat ownership is the friendship that we have with them. And if you're sitting there right now, thinking "of course I get it", we promise you that you don't. Not quite. The bond between us and our cats is beyond words. We don't know if it's possible to explain what it feels like when your cat curls up in your lap for the first time - or the thousandth, or what it feels like when your cat meows at you like they're having a conversation with you.

We don't think that we have ever been able to capture this feeling in writing quite right, but this man… we think he's done it. He rescued this sweet kitten from a jobsite surveying that he was doing, simply accepting that he was chosen by her and going on about his life. But she's proven to be special, and you can feel it in the way he talks about her.

Posted by Lana DeGaetano

When the Cat Distribution System calls, you answer. Period. If you don't, you might risk a furious feline showing up on your doorstep every day until you finally decide to take them in…

The animal lover in this next story, however, doesn't skip a beat to rescue a precious, sickly cat just a week after their Labrador crossed the rainbow bridge. The pet owner explains that they were prepared for a smaller animal household for a while, what with her other dog and two cats… but plans have since changed. Why? Augustus Goop, the funny little catto who sought out help from a loving hooman, is in the picture now! How can you say no to a sweet feline in need? You just can't!

Just when you think that life is on a downward spiral, the universe gives you signs that everything is going to be okay. For this pet owner, a cat seeking their help influenced them to believe they were hand-picked by their late Lab because they needed help. How sweet is that? I'm not crying, you're crying…

Scroll below to see some adorable photos of the "regal" Augustus Goop in his new home!

Posted by Elna McHilderson

Just like human babies, kittens get themselves into pickles that only adults can get them out of. Kids and kittens both get boo boos and need help finding food. So when this cat-loving lady found a two-week-old kitten meowing for help, she sprang into action. The condition she found this tiny feline brought her to tears. The tiny kitten's head was stuck in an AC unit. There were two holes in part of the appliance and the cat managed to get her head stuck.

It took two hours and lots of olive oil and dish soap, but eventually, they freed the tiny critter! The little baby was immediately relieved. She got a bath, some sustenance, comfort, and loving. The woman who rescued her wants to name her Olive due to the olive theme rescue tools and has announced that Olive is officially part of the family. Luckily, this family has lots of experience rescuing cats, especially young kittens. The baby is going to vet and getting ready for a life of luxury from now on!

‘I've grown attached’: Resident feeds outdoor cat for months while suspecting it belongs to a neighb

Posted by Bar Mor Hazut

Befriending outdoor animals is the best possible way to feel like a Disney character. Who doesn't love helping out tiny furry friends in need, getting to feed them, and slowly gaining their trust? All we need is a heartwarming song and maybe the ability to whistle, and we've got ourselves a Disney classic.

Unlike a Disney classic, however, many of us want to do a lot more than just befriend a stray animal in need. Helping them out from time to time is great, but it is much better to actually do the work and help them find a furrever home.

Take the lovely hooman in the story below as an example. She befriended an outdoor cat right outside her house, classic Disney princess. She feeds the friendly feline every day, and she watches him slowly gain health and become more and more trusting in her. Now, she is facing a move to a new place and is considering taking the cat with her, even though there might be another owner somewhere in the neighborhood.

Should she take that final step and bring the kitten to her new house? Keep scrolling to read the full story and decide for yourselves.

21 Wholesome Memes of Cats Bringing Pawsitivity and Pure Purrfection

Posted by Sarah Brown

In the wild world of cat memes, not everything is chaos, claws, and shattered vases. Sometimes, it's pure, heart-melting purrfection. Wholesome cat memes are the cozy corner of the internet. The soft blanket we all wrap ourselves in when the world feels a little too loud. These are the posts that make you pause, smile, and whisper, "I don't deserve cats."

From sleepy kittens snuggled into blankets to proud cats showing off their latest gift, every picture radiates warmth. There's something beautifully simple about the way a cat can express love. A gentle headbutt, a slow blink, or curling up on your chest like you're their favorite pillow. They remind us that sometimes comfort comes in the quietest, furriest forms.

Wholesome cat memes are like curling up in a warm sunbeam, simple and comforting in all the best ways. Each soft blink, tiny purr, and sleepy cuddle captured online shows that love doesn't need words to be felt. Sometimes all it takes is a whisker twitch or a cozy nap to make everything feel right again.
